“My favorite part of doing pet portraits is hearing stories about the bond between the person and their pet. I strive to get that spark and unique personality to shine through in the art.”
Joi Holcomb is an artist living in Austin, Texas, with her husband, Franklin Hudson (a golf pro and High School Coach) and their pre-owned kitty, Lulu.

She works in a variety of traditional media: pencil, pen and ink, watercolor, colored pencils, and acrylics.
In her free time, she loves to ride horses. Joi supports several animal protection and wildlife conservation charities which include Austin Pets Alive!, World Wildlife Fund, Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society, and LOPE (LoneStar Outreach to Place Ex-Racers).
